Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin was overjoyed to learn that Miguel Almiron had won the Premier League’s EA Sports Player of the Month award for October, as well as Eddie Howe winning the Premier League’s Barclays Manager of the Month award. The Magpies took to Instagram to announce the Paraguayan’s triumph, and the Frenchman lavished praise on his teammate. He captioned the news, “What a player and what a guy.” Almiron scored six goals in six Premier League games during October. As a result, he helped his team go unbeaten for the month, with five wins and one draw. The 28-year-old also beat teammates Bruno Guimaraes and Kieran Trippier to the award, as they were both nominated for the public vote.

With such praise flying around the dressing room at St James’ Park, it is no surprise Howe’s side are performing on the pitch.Ever since the former Bournemouth manager arrived at Darsley Park, there has been a huge amount of unity amongst the squad.Players seem genuinely happy for one another when they’re celebrating success, and Saint-Maximin is often a perfect example of this.
